Cancer Support Salisbury

Practical help and support groups

Cancer Support Salisbury is a local charity based in Salisbury. The charity is run by a group of friendly volunteers. We offer social drop-in sessions every Wednesday between 9.30am-11.30am and Thursday from 2pm-5pm at The Salisbury Quakers Meeting House, 51 Wilton Road, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP2 7EP. We offer practical and emotional support to all those who have been affected by a cancer diagnosis, either directly, or as a carer, friend, family member in Salisbury, Wiltshire and the surrounding areas. Our key aim is to create a safe and supportive environment for the community. Some of our volunteers have personal experience of living with cancer. We offer befriending support and complementary therapies including massage therapy, aromatherapy, reflexology; counselling, Yoga & Meditation classes, talks and workshops. We also provide plenty of refreshments and a chance to feel safe, welcome and nurtured in a non-medical environment. We encourage support and friendships amongst our clients, many who empower each other through their own experiences.
